A greenhouse in the garden extends your gardening year and increases the range and variety of plants you can grow. Choosing the right greenhouse can add interest to the garden and provide a practical focal point. With modern automation systems the greenhouse need not be a burden but, as with all gardening, plants do benefit from regular attention.
There are very few gardens that cannot find space for a greenhouse and bring to your garden the joy of being able to control the environment for your plants. In the Victorian garden there was a greenhouse for every purpose, even a greenhouse on the north side of the wall in a cool and dark spot for the treasured Fern House. Your garden may not be ideal but with skill and imagination you too could enjoy greenhouse gardening. We have greenhouses on roof gardens in central London, balcony gardens in Edinburgh, on mountains in Switzerland as well as in leafy suburbs. Greenhouse gardening is a special benefit to gardeners who do their horticulture from a wheelchair. The controlled environment and the ease of access make using our greenhouses a big plus for a gardener in a wheelchair. We can make a greenhouse to fit your needs. Greenhouses are also needed by plants from special habitats. Plants from Alpine habitats need protection from soft temperate rain, Orchids from tropical rain forests need special accommodation, as do some Insectivorous plants. We have been called upon to make special greenhouses for collections of Figs, for Vines and for Ferns. If your hobby takes you beyond pottering into propagating and collecting rare or difficult species then our experience is available to help solve the problems.

Our Greenhouses are individually built by skilled Sussex craftsmen. Each building is fully erected and inspected in our own workshop, and all sections are clearly marked to facilitate trouble-free re-erection on site.
